Introduction

Configuration

Generate a Security Token

To connect CogniVis AI with Salesforce, you need to generate a Security Token in Salesforce. This token will be used to authenticate the connection between CogniVis AI and Salesforce.

Sign In

Sign into your Salesforce account.

Navigate toSecurity Token

Click on your avatar (top right corner) and go to settings.

Then, in the side navbar, select reset my security token.

Generate a Security token

After pressing the Reset Security Token button, you will receive an email containing your Salesforce username and security token.

Add the connector to CogniVis

Navigate to CogniVis Connectors

In your platform, go to the Admin Panel, which you can find in the top right corner of the screen.

Go to the Add Connector section in the menu on the left side of the screen.

Then, search for and select the Salesforce connector.

Provide details

Enter your Salesforce username, password, and Security Token.

Specify access and objects

After specifying the object types and deciding whether the documents should be public or not, press the connect button.
