AI Search Engine
Chatbots are a fantastic tool, but there are situations where a traditional search engine powered by artificial intelligence can give us more desirable results.
For example, when we don't care about a "human" response to a question and only need to find specific information in the thicket of corporate sources, it is definitely better to use a search engine than a chatbot.
When you select "Search" from the navigation, you will be taken to the search page.
Let's say you want to quickly find the goals for the second quarter of 2024 for a specific project. By typing "goals q2 2024 mdb standard" within a second we already have a list of precise results and we can click on the source to go to it and familiarize ourselves with its details.
This is particularly useful when we have many data sources connected - not only a knowledge base but also various files, communicators, etc.
We can also force the search engine to use artificial intelligence to generate an answer similar to that from a chatbot by clicking "GPT give a response?" in the panel on the left side.
So when is the search engine better than a chatbot?
- When you need quick access to the source of specific information
- When instead of a direct answer formulated in full sentences you only need links to sources
- When you need a full range of informational resources from various corporate sources
It's also worth mentioning that the search engine is both faster and cheaper than chatbots, as it does not use tokens (or, when you force an AI response, it uses very few)
