AI Plugins (example with document analysis)

Plugins are functionalities built by our team that expand the capabilities of CogniVis and allow the use of artificial intelligence for many other purposes.

Let's discuss extensions using the example of "Document Analyst".

"Document Analyst", as the name suggests, enables the analysis of documents. For example, you can send it a contract for analysis, and it will find all potentially risky elements that you should pay attention to.

In the top navigation, click "Plugins", and then select "Document Analyst".

At this moment, we have one assistant available - "General risk analyst".

If you send it a file, for example, the mentioned contract, it will analyze it for risks.

At this point, AI is relying on its general knowledge and listing potential risks without having any precise guidelines from us.

Let's create a new assistant that will have these guidelines.

In the admin panel, click the "Plugins" button in the navigation on the left side. There you will see a list of available extensions.

On the list, click "Edit" next to the "Document Analyst" extension. Then click the "New analyst" button. You will see an interface similar to what we saw when creating a persona.

Fill in the name, description, and style of speech:

And now the most important part - in the next field, let's attach the following guidelines:

Based on the following guidelines, analyze the document attached by the user.

Negotiation Guidelines for Contracts

1. Scope and Duration of the Contract

  • Duration: The contract should be entered into for a minimum period of 12 months with the possibility of extension for additional 12-month periods.
  • Termination: The contract may be terminated with 3 months' notice.

2. Pricing and Payment Terms

  • Payments: Payments should be made within a maximum of 30 days from the date of delivery and receipt of the invoice.
  • Discount: There is a possibility to negotiate a 2% discount for payment within 10 days.

3. Delivery Terms

  • Delivery deadlines: Deliveries should be made within a maximum of 14 days from the order being placed by the store.

4. Quality and Acceptance

  • Quality standards: Products must meet all local and international quality standards and be in accordance with the specifications set out in the contract.
  • Returns: Non-compliant products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Trademark protection: The use of trademarks and logos requires written consent and is limited to the purposes specified in the contract.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Confidentiality clauses: Commercial and technical information considered confidential must be protected for at least 5 years after the end of the contract.

7. Force Majeure

  • Force majeure clauses: Both parties are released from liability for non-performance or delays in providing services caused by force majeure, lasting no longer than 60 days.

8. Termination of the Contract and Penalties

  • Termination conditions: The contract may be terminated in the event of a breach of its terms, with a 30-day period for the offending party to remedy the breach.

9. Final Provisions

  • Dispute resolution: In the event of disputes, the first step should be mediation. If mediation fails, disputes will be settled by the court competent for the seller's headquarters.

10. Amendments and Additions

  • Amendment procedures: Any changes to the contract must be made in writing and signed by both parties to be effective.

General Advice

  • Accuracy: Do not accept generalities, demand precision in every aspect of the contract.
  • Negotiations: Remember that many of these points, including payment terms and delivery conditions, are negotiable and can be adjusted to the needs of both parties.

Additional Notes:

  • The above guidelines are only a starting point for negotiations.
  • They should be adapted to the specific needs and circumstances of each contract.
  • In case of doubt, it is advisable to consult a lawyer.

Click "Create" and create a new assistant.

Now when you go back to Plugins / Document Analyst you will see that our new assistant is available among the options to choose from.

Select the new assistant and give it a file to analyze again. This time you will see that while generating the response, AI takes into account the guidelines we attached.

We can continue the conversation with it and, for example, instruct it to list the parts of the contract that are inconsistent with the guidelines.

Prompt:

Quote the sections of the contract that are inconsistent with the guidelines

We can also instruct it to create something based on this analysis, for example, to prepare a draft message to our partner, in which the findings from this analysis will be detailed.

Prompt:

Prepare an email to our partner with whom we were going to sign this contract and list all the inconsistencies you found in that email.
