Together with IGHP, we deliver one-day training sessions for hotel management teams. We combine the practical realities of a manager’s day-to-day work with AI applications before, during and after the guest’s stay.

For hotel managers
The series has already run several times. It is aimed at hotel directors, operations managers, reception and sales managers, and owners of independent properties. It starts with the hotel’s day-to-day responsibilities and processes, not programming.
Practical learning and a broad view of the tools available
The programme requires no technical knowledge. It is tool-neutral by design: it presents the wider landscape of possibilities rather than focusing solely on CogniVis solutions. During the workshops, participants test the tools using their own examples.
AI for Hotel Managers programme
00
An hour for the manager
What can AI do for you — not just for your guests? Reports, internal communication, procedures and meeting summaries are all time-consuming tasks for managers. In the practical part of the module, each participant tests the tools using their own examples and explores how to speed up their day-to-day work.
01
AI before the stay
Automation, proposals, MICE and marketing. We discuss automated 24/7 responses across communication channels, shorter proposal preparation times, handling MICE and B2B enquiries, and creating marketing content. We start with the risk of losing a guest’s interest when the hotel’s response arrives too late.
02
AI during the stay
Guest communication, check-in and monitoring. A guest is looking for the SPA, reception needs an alert about dissatisfaction, and a manager wants to spot a recurring concern. We show how AI can help fill these gaps by providing the right information at the right time — without replacing people.
03
AI after the stay
Surveys, reviews and relationship building. We show how AI reduces the time needed to prepare responses to reviews, personalises post-stay communication and turns collected feedback into practical insights for management.
Feedback from one edition
The results relate to one edition of the series, not all training sessions delivered. We present anonymous aggregated data. Scores were converted from a 1–6 scale to a 10-point scale by multiplying the average by 10/6 and rounding to one decimal place. This is not an overall rating for the series.
The trainers’ subject-matter expertise was rated 10/10 (6/6 on the original scale) in a post-session survey after one edition. This is a rating for a specific criterion, not the overall training rating.

From inspiration to first applications
Open-ended responses included commitments to using the techniques learnt shortly after the training. Participants identified opportunities to improve day-to-day tasks, as well as the need to explore the subject further.
Suggestions for developing the programme
Participants called for more time for exercises, a better match between the programme and the group’s level, and a deeper focus on specific processes. They also commented on tool neutrality and organisational arrangements. We treat these as suggestions for further developing the series, not evidence that every request has already been implemented.
